PRIMARY SCHOOL ENGLISH COURSES
Students are organized in groups according to the level of knowledge and their classes last 50 or 60 minutes, depending on the age group.
Classes are held two times a week or 72 classes a year. Our students have free additional conversation classes as the third class in a week. These classes are not obligatory, but we strongly recommend them.

-Throughout these years of experience, we have learned a lot. The most important thing that we implemented in our school system is an effective methodology of teaching. We are conscious of the fact that teaching is not only explaining grammar rules. It is much more than that. Unfortunately, some teachers still use traditional methods of teaching, such as grammar-translation method. This method focuses only on reading and translating different texts in English and explaining grammar rules. In this way, children will only mechanically learn the second language. This and similar methods suppress students’ creativity. We put an emphasis on the actual usage of the second language. In our school, children practice all language skills:
- Listening
- Speaking
- Reading
- Writing
Students acquire language skills through varied language games, visual aids, realia, flash cards and different projects. Depending on the level of learning, we use the most varied activities and games in order to arouse students’ attention during the class. Different projects teach students that learning English language is not only doing different activities from activity books. Projects develop students’ creativity and they learn English through drawing, cutting, presentations and different role-plays.
-Our teaching methodology gives our students cultural education as well. They will learn some cultural and geographical facts about English speaking countries, their different customs and holidays.
-Our well-known slogan is: Speak English all the time! Speak up! A special emphasis in our teaching methodology is put on conversational skills. These skills are practiced in every class. Our students have also an opportunity to practice speaking as well as listening skills with native speakers.
As far as the teaching materials are concerned, we use the highest quality English language course materials for more effective learning. Those are mostly Longman and Oxford teaching materials. It is important that students learn most of the things during the class and they do less at home, which is more effective way of learning.
